Anyone can take part in Equine Assisted Learning or Equine Facilitated Therapy Sessions.Open College Network

Corporate Clients
Equine assisted learning is available for Company Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders and other staff members.

Leadership skills, problem solving, strategic planning, change management and team building are all skills which can be developed using equine facilitated learning.  It is possible to work on an individual or group basis with the horses.   You can choose one session or a EAQ - equine assisted learning for corporate clients, company directors, managers and employees.series of sessions to help you with your training targets and improve your investment in your people.

Your company's staff could also benefit from our wide range of qualifications all available as individual units on topics such as team building, problem solving and working with others.


Step-UP Programme for 14-16 year olds
Our Step-UP Programme in association with the Open College Network, offers equine facilitated learning and qualifications for 14-16 year olds and is ideal for those who:
 - find it hard to cope with traditional schooling
 - have been truanting or are at risk of truanting
 - have been excluded or are at risk from being excluded
 - travellers
 - struggle with poor literacy and numeracy skills
 - are being bullied


EAQ - equine assisted learning for teenagers and young people.Young Children aged 14 and under
Equine facilitated learning can be especially effective for those children who are being bullied or are themselves the bully.  Some EAQ centres specialise in helping young children and have miniature ponies so that the children do not feel intimidated. 

Improving Mental Health
Equine assisted therapy and psychotherapy is effective in treating conditions such as depression, eating disorders, drug addiction, alcohol misuse and post traumatic stress disorder.


Offender Learning and Skills (OLASS)
We have found that our equine facilitated learning programmes work well for offenders and help them with:
 - improving their communication skills
 - changing their behaviour
 - anger management
 - drug and alcohol addiction
 -
decision making
