An Equine Assisted Learning Course for Offender

Background 
Horsemanship for Humans is a course, developed by EAQ founder Tricia Day, to help offenders learn more about themselves.  During the course, participants are able to interact with a horse and by doing so, develop a deeper emotional and physical awareness. 

The course was the first of its kind ever to be run in a prison environment.   We were delighted when HRH Princess Anne visited one course held at HMP Guys Marsh in 2007 and spent time talking about the course and how it was helping offenders.
